Self-paced learning

Self-paced learning is the student experience for reflecting, uploading work, and submitting for grading—also called student study in the app.

Enable on an assignment

After a grading setup is applied:

  1. Open assignment settings.
  2. Enable the student study workflow.
  3. Open student study setup to confirm prompts and configuration.
  4. Share the assignment with students when phases show you are ready.

Students use a separate portal from the professor workspace.

What students do

  • Open the assignment from the student portal
  • Reflect and use coaching prompts in the study workspace
  • Upload a paper and submit for grading
  • Read feedback after the professor review workflow

Students do not edit rubrics or AI instruction templates.
